Build a Trade Year Without Quiet Collisions
How Bangkok trade teams can map brand moments against retailer windows before the first brief goes out.
A promotional calendar is not a list of holidays with brand logos attached. It is a negotiation between what marketing wants to shout, what buyers will approve, and what field teams can physically install.
Start with retailer windows, not brand wish lists. If a chain locks artwork three weeks before a festival, your internal ‘final’ date must sit earlier. Plot those cutoffs first, then hang brand moments on the remaining open space.
Next, mark field capacity. A launch week that needs eighty store resets cannot share a crew with a simultaneous secondary-display sweep. Capacity is part of the calendar, not an afterthought for operations.
Finally, leave recovery weeks. Quiet periods are how teams absorb late retailer changes without collapsing the next wave. A year without white space is a year of silent failures.
